SEVAnet is a non-profit computer network hosted by Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. The SEVA E-business Village is an association of small businesses in Southeastern Virginia that work with SEVAnet to help develop their electronic commerce capabilities.
SEVAnet works to provide low-cost e-commerce services to small businesses, local government agencies, and others. The mission of SEVAnet is to promote the competitiveness of the Hampton Roads region through the widespread use of electronic commerce.
