  • Critics participate in either of two ways: commenting on blogs and posting ratings and reviews on sites
  • Collectors share with the entire community, e.g. social bookmarking
  • Joiners use a social networking site like My Space or Facebook.
  • Spectators sit back and watch
  • Inactives do not participate at all in social computing activities.
